Gabi Chernobyl is a Los Angeles-based visual artist who pulls inspiration from her dreams - the ones she sleeps through and the ones that visit while she’s awake. She generally finds it constrictive to be limited to one medium, often experimenting with traditional and found materials that bring her visions to life. While Gabi prefers the softness of the West Coast, she was born and raised in New Jersey and will sometimes allow the remnants of her harsh, East Coast edge to peek through her work. When she’s not creating, she enjoys tending to her houseplants, reading for pleasure and making music.
